This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data: email, username, avatar, and authentication identifiers.
  • Gameplay data: scores, match history, rankings, category ratings, and streaks.
  • Device identifiers: used by our advertising partner to serve ads (see Section 4).
  • Support messages: details you send to us for help.

2. How We Use Data

  • Provide gameplay, matchmaking, and leaderboards.
  • Maintain account security, prevent abuse, and enforce fair play.
  • Process purchases and subscriptions through Apple.
  • Show ads to free users to keep the app available at no cost.
  • Provide customer support when requested.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers to run the app, such as:

  • Authentication and storage providers
  • Apple services for Sign in with Apple and in‑app purchases
  • Google AdMob for serving ads to free users (see Section 4)

4. Advertising

Free users may see rewarded ads powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. This data may be used to show you more relevant ads across apps and websites.

  • On iOS 14.5+, we request permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking occurs.
  • If you deny tracking, AdMob will still serve ads but they will not be personalised.
  • Premium subscribers do not see ads.

5. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active and only as long as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes.

6. Your Choices

  • You can update or delete your account in the app.
  • You can manage subscription settings in your App Store account.
  • You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Upgrading to Premium removes all ads.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect your data. No system is 100% secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

Quizza is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made.
